Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using E-Sports Council, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use E-Sports Council.
  • Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent.
  • You must provide accurate information during registration.
  • One account per person; multiple accounts will be banned.

3. Tournament Registration & Payments

  • Entry fees are non-refundable once a tournament goes LIVE.
  • Refunds for cancelled tournaments are processed within 7 business days.
  • All payments are processed through Razorpay (UPI, cards, netbanking).
  • E-Sports Council is not responsible for payment gateway downtime.
  • Fake or fraudulent payment attempts will result in a permanent ban.

4. Tournament Rules & Fair Play

  • All players must follow game-specific rules posted on each tournament page.
  • Use of hacks, cheats, emulators (unless allowed), or exploits is strictly prohibited.
  • Screen recording is mandatory for dispute resolution.
  • Team leaders are responsible for their team members' conduct.
  • Disputes must be raised within 15 minutes of match completion via Discord.
  • Admin decisions on disputes are final.

5. Prize Distribution

  • Prizes are distributed within 24 hours of tournament completion.
  • Prize money is sent to the team leader's verified UPI ID or bank account.
  • E-Sports Council reserves the right to withhold prizes in case of rule violations.
  • Tax liability on prize money is the responsibility of the winner.

6. Account Termination

E-Sports Council may suspend or terminate accounts for rule violations, fraud, abusive behavior, or any activity that disrupts the platform.

Banned users forfeit any pending prizes.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • E-Sports Council is not liable for in-game bugs, server crashes, or issues caused by third-party services.
  • Maximum liability is limited to the entry fee paid for a specific tournament.

8. Changes to Terms

  • E-Sports Council reserves the right to modify these terms at any time.
  • Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
  • Users will be notified of major changes via the platform.
